Representatives of INFINITUM Asset Services took part in NAUFOR, IX Ural Conference

02.11.2016

Russian Stock Market, the annual Ural conference, was held on October 27 in Yekaterinburg. The Conference is one of the largest events on the collective investment market, which was attended by the heads of major banks and asset management companies from Moscow, the Ural, Siberian and Far Eastern regions. During the event, the delegates discussed the regulatory policy on the financial market, voiced trends and dwelled on the problems of the industry.

INFINITUM Asset Services was represented by Dmitry Shlogin, Business Development Director, and Dmitry Tselischev, Head of Customer Attraction. Traditionally, Dmitry Shlogin participated in the round table discussion, which is a distinctive feature of the event. The round table was attended by professional players on the collective investment market from various regions and representatives of regulatory authorities, which allowed discussing the urgent problems of the industry.

❝After the conference, we became even more optimistic about the collective investment market. So, the changes that were planned for implementation in the near future became obvious, including the new composition and the structure of the Unit Investment Trust, the definition of qualified/unqualified investors. A lot of attention has been paid to establishing the risk management system in companies and direct linking of its quality to the scope of regulatory supervision. Specialized self-regulated organizations are gaining an increasing role in the market, so the management companies and the regulatory agencies have high expectations of them. A lot of attention will be paid to the financial sustainability of collective investment market players and equity investment strategies. Again, there was a question of engaging Deposits Insurance Agency in investors insurance similar to the deposit insurance in banks. According to conference participants, this measure would allow taking a course towards developing investors’ confidence in the stock and collective investment market❞, — said Dmitry Tselischev.
