INFINITUM and the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange Signed a Memorandum

In order to develop and integrate organized financial and capital markets of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation, the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange and INFINITUM Asset Services signed a Memorandum on Cooperation. The BCSE and INFINITUM have reached an agreement to cooperatively promote the attraction of investments to the Republic of Belarus and the development of opportunities for investors and professional participants of the financial markets of the two countries.

Within the scope of the Memorandum, the BCSE and INFINITUM agreed to participate in joint projects to improve the infrastructure of the financial markets of the Eurasian Economic Union, as well as to share experience in the use of advanced IT technologies.

The signing of the Memorandum will provide an additional opportunity to attract investors in the financial market of the Republic of Belarus and will facilitate the growing of business volumes on our stock exchange platform. It is definitely one of the important steps that will allow to activate bilateral cooperation of professional participants of the stock market of our countries,’ Andrey Aukhimenya, Chairman of the Board of Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange, said.

Joint planning of activities promoting the formation of conditions for the integration of financial markets of our countries and other EEU countries, and their further implementation, as well as facilitation of real investment transactions involving Russian and Belarusian parties will allow us and our Belarusian colleagues to expand the opportunities and scope of each business organization and its customers on a mutually beneficial basis.
