RAEX Confirms ruAA Rating for INFINITUM

RAEX Rating Agency has once again confirmed the ruAA credit rating of INFINITUM Asset Services. The outlook of the rating remains stable.

The company’s credit strength is based on its market position assessed as strong, adequate capital position with a high level of profitability, high asset quality, comfortable liquidity position, as well as an adequate assessment of the business organization level, the Agency is quoted as saying in its opinion.

The company’s strong market positions stem from the significant scale of the business (as of September 30, 2020, the assets recognized by the company within its activities related to the specialized depository were some RUB 5.1 trillion, the market value of securities accepted for depository services were RUB 3.6 trillion), the company’s client base (as of September 30, 2020, there were 638 clients of the specialized depository), and its high quality (as of September 30, 2020, clients with a conditional rating class below RAEX ruBB accounted for less than 2 % of the total client assets/securities recognized). The ratings are supported by a high level of business profitability at an acceptable level of operational efficiency, with a high level of autonomy ratio, and increasing diversification of the company’s investments over the last 12 months, along with high-quality investments.

The Agency noted that the rating was positively influenced by the adequate organization of risk management (the company is certified on the international standard ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System and ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Information Security Management System), high reliability of insurance protection of the company’s professional responsibility, as well as high quality of the specialized software used. According to the Agency, the strategic plans correspond to the company’s capabilities in the current market environment and will help strengthen its competitive position.
